Don't be worried its that way everywhere. Ever since the meltdown in 2008 the rules have changed and banks and mortgage companies check every minute detail. Appraisals and surveys even take longer. It's hard to even get it all together in 30 days anymore.

Since it is Pearl Harbor Rememberance Day, I thought I'd post a few pics from my visit over the summer. There was a lot of construction going on, so you can see the fence where they have it blocked off and we couldn't see what they were doing. Meeting these few survivors was one of the highlights of my trip!

Yesterday, truck was great. We had a hard freeze overnight... In the morning my needle was bouncing all over the **** place, and I pegged it down to the D in the PRND21... while going 60. This afternoon it was working great under 25, and over 65, anything in the middle was a jumbled jumpy mess of incorrectness...

WTF happened?! Did I snap a bunch teeth off a gear when I started the truck this morning? Did the freeze kill my speedo cable? All I know is it feels awesome watching my needle do 0-45 when I only do 0-25, by the gauge, my 0-60 time is about 6-7 seconds now!

Sounds like the cold got to your speedo cable. The speedo in my 06 F350 work truck stops working when its below 30 or so weird cuz its all electronic.

Did it start working better once the truck warmed up?

You could try pulling out the cluster and disconnecting the speedo cable. In the past I have used WD-40 on them, squirting a little inside the casing where the cable runs. It lubricates and displaces any water keep it from freezing up. just dont use too much, you don't need a lot.

That happens with me in the cold too. The problem for me is actually the stepper motor.

I'm in park here doing 115.

It's just weird because it worked great yesterday, and 2 nights ago was like 2 degrees warmer. In the afternoon it did work better, the 0-25 worked great, and 65+ were on. But 26mph-64mph was all over the dang place.

What would you remember more from your childhood?

Getting a bunch of materialistic toys at Christmas just like you did the year before?

Or getting the aluminum pole out from the crawlspace and celebrating Festivus?

Of course I would include the airing of grievances and the feats of strength. lol
