hows everyone doin tonight? :P
im sitting here at my table trying to work on my final for my design drawing class and ive pretty much hit a wall of writers block, but for drawing.. sigh
trying to come up with some good ideas for the car im designing for this class. im shooting for a small RWD coupe/hatch. nothing too crazy in terms of hp or whatever, just a small, light car that that accomplishes all your basic commuting/city needs but looks sporty and would be fun to drive. i cant really show off how well sorted a suspension is with a drawing though, so i only really have to deal with making a good looking sporty small car. I've been thinking alot about thing slike the original ford/mercury capri, toyota corolla AE86, and the myriad of small rwd cars japan used to make. 2+2 seating. nothing too fancy, just the perfect car for the enthusiast that lives/works in a big city but wants to enjoy the drive, even if it isnt the fastest car around.

How about something like a miata, but with a 2+2 layout, or better yet, a four wheeled car powered by a motorcycle engine, you know, like the "legends class" race cars, but something street legal.
The reason why I asked is because I was talking to my wife aboout them and she pretty much gave me the OK to get one. She is trying to figure out how to save up some cash to put a nice healthy down payment on a GT 5.0 so I can get it transformed into the GT 350 since that is the only way to get them.

here's my rediculous thing for the day. The marketing professor I can't stand is at it again. We were supposed to have class last wed, the day before t'sgiving. she wasnt going to be there for our class, and had in fact cancelled class for all her other classes of the day. We were supposed to turn in a homework assignment in class wednesday morning. All my other classes were cancelled, so I slid my hw under her office door tuesday night.
Now she is refusing to grade it, a 17 point wallop onto my final grade. I'm f'n furious. I have had it with her, and will go to make a formal complaint after class on wednesday if she hasnt decided to change her stance on this. I'm about as easy going as a person as you'll ever find, but enough is enough.

That guy's an artist behind the wheel! Same way here. The PC bullcrap / fear of being labeled racist has gotten so bad that the local news is even falling for it. When there has been a robbery, home invasion, etc. and they tell the story on the news, they have quit giving the race of the person they are looking for unless they are white. They'll show a surveillance tape of the robbery, then tell the height, weight, age, clothing description, and vehicle description and post it on the screen, but not the race of the person if they are black or Hispanic. If its a white guy they include the race every time. Makes no sense at all.
Don't mention any race at all and be done with it. It's that simple. 
Thats because they are shocked that it's actually a white person committing the crime. If they didn't say "white" then people may assume that the tape was wrong...
Snowed today, Cobra isn't going to be able to come out for a while now. Atleast its safe and sound in the garage just waiting for a full next season of driving.
Come spring and thru summer she will hopefully be getting the following.
-MGW shifter
-Tuner
-CAI
-Catback
-O/R X-pipe
-Subframe connectors
-tubular k-members
-Smaller S/C Pulley

Got my work interview yesterday. Man, was it tough! But luckily I answered all the questions the general manager dished me out. 
Let's hope I get the job.
And now in Ford news, found two tempting options for a replacement engine for the stang. One is on a local wrecking yard and another is on a running 88 Lincoln Mark VII very close by. I plan on checking the complete car and if I can make a deal for it for the same amount or less than what the engine on the yard will cost me, I'll pull the trigger. The added bonus of that deal is that the car will still be registered and insured 'till the end of the year After that... part out time!

so, i was driving the stang home on state street. cop starts tailgaiting me. i was going 45! he gets even close so i go to 50, he gets right on my bumper again. i just turned off to a side street. thanks SLC PD for protecting the streets! @#%$ you!

why is it that group members agree to meet at noon, and then dont show up until 1? seriously, wtf? And that pretty well sums up reason #1 that I hate working in groups for classwork, noone is ever on time anymore. suppose it doesnt matter that I had things to do this afternoon.
