So nice to be home! Except since I left my trucks gotten weird-ish. Oil pressure is slightly down, it's running hot and some coolant boiled over last night. Yeah, that's a nice way to come out of a movie theater with your date. And then the tranny was having a small slippage issue sometimes, but I'm pretty sure that's cause the engine was hot and heating the tranny fluid above it's normal operating temp. But I did find the cause of why the truck pulled right since forever. It was the tire. The old right front and the junkyard right front both made it pull right. I switched the fronts and now it pulls left.
And on thursday I'm checkin' out some wheels and tires. 5 '95 F150 stock aluminum wheels, 2 have mostly bald 235/75/15s, and the other 3 have kinda low tread 31x10.50s. It's $75 for all 5, so if the tires are passable, I'm buying. And I really only care if 2 of the 31s have acceptable tread, means it's worth it to me. Then I can paint the worse condition set of aluminum wheels black and have 2 sets of wheels
Due to the context of this quote, I am sorry to inform you Blue Notch(Nathan), that gooey brown coating is indeed, not chocolate.

What kind of oil filter do you have on your truck?? Also what kind of oil pressure gauge do you have?? Do you have one that shows exactly how much pressure there is?? Or is it just a light?? Also how hot is the truck getting when it over heats?? It kinda sounds like it may be the thermostat might be stuck. I would remove the thermostat and see if it over heats again?? If it does then you got a problem with either the radiator or a blockage somewhere. Do you have a clutch fan on your truck?? If so then it might be a goner causing it to over heat also.

Gonna be 90 tomorrow with storms developing in the afternoon. I wish our garage was cleaned out. Don't want another hail storm story on here.
