I thought he said he needed to use a special key? There were some sort of special locks due to the camera. Still, it's been a while.

I got distracted. I was working on my grill and piddling. Still don't have the plate on. I've got to remove the amps to get down into the wheel well where the wire is that I need to undo. It's PITA.

Saw it on the news.
Yup. It's got a 6.4 Hemi crate motor, forged pistons, rods, crank, ported heads, cam, SMS blower, 700/700 hp/tq, the Molly Pop paint was an $18,000 option, and is the only one made in the color.
Better get your wallet out, and cash in some savings bonds, rebuilding a new car from the ground up aint cheap.
The picture just do not do this color justice. IT IS AWESOME!

I'm with you Gary, it most defintiely is NOT a floormat problem. Their computers are not programmed well and its costing american lives. Does toyota bother doing anything about it? Nope, they shuffle it under the rug, hoping no one will notice.
There have been plenty of ford recalls that were not mandatory, but ford opted to have them anyway, at their own financial risk, just to keep customers happy and their cars quality up. No such care from toyota
maybe this will finally be what it takes to convince the average dipstick that toyota does not make cars that are immortal and in fact far from it. I really hope they burn from this one

Wow. That's all I have to say. How hard is it for a manufacturer just to leave license plates to screws? This is what sunk american cars in the public's eye before(having to remove everything for something simple), hope it's not coming back. My uncle just changed the battery on his 300M... It's behind the wheel well, under the windshield washer resevior and a few other things... He wasn't happy. Took him like an hour and a half to do, and he's mechanically inclined. And had a sweet, black '88 Thunderbird TC he ran for close to 200k while doing a lot of work himself. He traded it for a sweet, black '98 Mustang GT. That car was
