What is that?

Do you know how to download apps from the market? Go there and do a search for "barcode scanner". Several will show up, but download the one from ZXing Team. This will help you get apps easier. Next message will get you a ringtone app using the barcode scanner.

Ok, I was looking at it before, but I wasn't exactly sure what it was.

Download files is easy with a barcode. You scan what are called QR Codes and they look like this:
Now that you have the barcode scanner downloaded, fire it up. Camera is slow, so be patient. Once it is working, it will look like you are taking a picture but it will have a red line going through it.
Now hold the camera up to the screen and scan the above bar code. Once the camera focuses in on the barcode, it will beep. You may have to help a bit and move the camera back and forth.
Once scanned it will tell you it found URL and give you 3 options. Click the "Open Browser" option. This will load up the market app and bring you to the item you just scanned. It should be Ringtones from Mabilo Android Team. Download that and run it and you'll have access to all sorts of ringtones.

If you want to browse apps easier, go to the site:
http://www.androlib.com/
You can browse and search for the apps online. Each listing has a QR code that you can scan to help you find it in the market an easily download.

II've put about 35k on my Grand Cherokee, and probably 12.5 on my other cars. compared to my dad, (stopped counting 15 years ago, when he passed 2 million miles), I'm still a noob

so the car show was freaking awesome! I'll post pics later when I get them off my camera.
I've decided on a car...if it's still there at the beginning of summer, I'll buy it. If not, it wasn't meant to be, and in the mean time I'll keep looking!

The scanner is used for scanning a barcode to download apps, and it can be used by other programs to look up items in a store. You can go in and scan the barcode of an item and it will go out on the internet and show you that item in other stores and give the price. Helps you get the same item cheaper elsewhere.

Some videos testing out the droid's camera:

The first one I had the volume turned up way too high. Still way better than my normal camera.
Youtube lowered the quality. Sounds much better on my computer...

Glad i'm not the only one who does a driving video like that. My quailty is kinda choppy since I was running a ROM that was new.

Here is another app you may like...
It lets you stream the videos live, so when you're out there recording something, people can go online and watch it as it happens!

This place is deader than tales from the crypt. I'll add something up instead.
Found out why my A/C died. It's the stupid resistor card. Unfortunately, there's no moneys to replace it 'till next paycheck
Also my dad's working on a Galant that has some overheating issues. The problem the car has had over the years is that over time, the cooling system creates this sand like substance that clogs up the thermostat, and if not taken care of soon enough, clogs the radiator. I told my dad that's caused by electrolysis on the cooling system. I told him that an anode cap may help to solve that problem. Haven't found any yet for that car
