Well, my rates didn't change when I was 25. I saw a little bit of a difference when I hit 6 years experience.

Right now I have an '05 Trailblazer and '08 Mustang, both bank owned with full coverage for $1199. It pays to be old and living in a small town!

No taxes taken out of the unemployment check, and I defaulted on a 401k loan due to being unemployed, so I have taxes and penalty there. Gotta dish out about $4300.

I also insure my two cars & motorcycle for about $1200/year with full coverage. I use AMICA for everything and have had nothing but great luck with them. When I turned 16 I think I was paying $1500/year for just the one 8 year old Firebird I had. When I got rid of that and got a 4 year old 5.0L Explorer I think it went down $500/year and I was only a year or so older.

When I was living in Worcester, just my Blazer at the time was costing something like $1300 a year. This town is cheap when it comes to car insurance.

Oh yeah, I had Amica for quite a while too. But work offered a discount through Met Life, so I switched since it saved me a few bucks. I Will go back to Amica if I lose my discount when my insurance renews in May.

I stand corrected I actually pay $1900/year with the 06 Altima. With the Taurus it was $1200/year.

My Mustang is $721/year.

I can't even file my state tax yet. Health insurance is required here in Mass, and the insurance company hasn't even sent out their proof of insurance forms yet. They should have been in the mail by the 31st.
