I guess I'm a red neck. Because I've been known to haul a pallet with 75 sacks of 2 cu.ft. mulch on it, stacked about 6' high and weighing around 2,000 pounds in a half ton pickup.

Used pallets can fetch from $2-5 ea. If they're the treated wood type, they are worth more. They cost about $8+ new.

They've got the red stuff down the road, but it goes super fast. I'll take some pics of their huge piles for you come summer.

And who rents a closed truck for moving household appliances? I've put a refrigerator, a clothes washing machine and a bed on my uncles 94 Dakota w a rope and a cheap blue tarp to cover everything in case of rain.

better than here....people pull out in front of me everyday on a major hwy (one lane, 55mph limit) and go 40-45, when everyone else is doing 60+...it's every-freakin-day! and there's no chance to pass!

No. They are about 100 foot from me. Actually maybe only 80 foot.
Nope. I'll be moving up the street just a little bit away from my parents. I've kind of got a lot picked out. It's 1/2 acre. I know its small, but that's twice the size of this lot.
There's also a 2.5 acre lot I'm looking at that's about 1/4 mile from here.

The closest house to us is at least 500. And there's a tons of pine trees between us. I'd definitely get the bigger lot. Night Eduardo!
