Sean you'll need a sub with about 200 watts of RMS power and a amp with about 300 watts of power that's just right for a full size truck. You just don't turn the power allthe way up on the amp. Trust me I have experience in that

Not unless you want to see how high you can bounce a quarter off the roof.

I'm just thinking about 1 10" or 1 12", depending on price and how much room I have behind the seat.

So sub with a 200rms and the amp I want to provide 300ish rms and just not turn it up the full way?

Hey, I didn't say that.

I'll be waiting on those pix!
My kenwood at 300wrms was enough to feel. "200wrms" with my blaupunkt I could barely feel at all. Just get a 500wrms amp and a 12" alpine type r. I had the GT parked outside the other night, and it was rattling the lights in my garage.

My sub will be at most 3 feet from my ears, playing right into my seat, not in a trunk like yours. Would that make a difference?

Although I would like to be obnoxious sometimes..

Gary ninja'd you on that one about a month ago I have yet to find one specifically for my truck, but that shouldn't be too bad, seeing as most have very little space

so I suck at snowboarding, haha
my first run was the best, I got 1/3 down the slope then tried to turn right, and the edge dug in spinnnig me sideways and face planting. After that it was all busting my butt and trying to get back up

I got a pair of skis for tomorrow, and then it's a 4.5 hour drive home Wednesday morning

and speaking of drives, I never wanna drive in the snow again. it's rediculous how careful you have to be.

My car can do that with a 300 watt amp and 2 12" kickers that are bridged and wired in series. The only down side is the box they're in takes up the whole trunk. I have 6" clearance on each side 3" on top and about 10" to the trunk latch

If they are made specifically for your truck, they'll be a heck of a lot more. Just measure at compare to boxes you find online.

You should see my dad drive through a snow storm. He acts like there's absolutely nothing wrong.

This is one 12 in a .90ft3 sealed box, not even turned all the way up. Are yours sealed or ported?

Both, the subs are mounted backwards in the box, magnets out. It was either do that or take out my back seat because they're free air woofers
