So it's between them or AM for ~$15 more and a non-tinted reverse.

The MPS ones would be used I would think. But all teh used parts I got from them other than the weheels were very well cleaned.
I just couldn't get past that untinted reverse light.

What, do you have some little alarm built into your head that tells you I got one? WTH?!
They're used, but they should be original ford parts though, right? Instead of the cheaper, leaking, aftermarket ones...

The problem was the taillights you posted originally were way too black. That made it look even more apparent. The problem with these places and people who sell these is that they think the blacker the better and that's not what I was after. And I'm pretty sure its not what you are after.
I guess when I finally get my paint setup going I'm gonna try doing this on my own stock taillights. I think they should be red with a hint of black tint. That looks far better IMHO than a murdered out black out look.

You can also take your stock taillights down to a place that smokes windows and have them smoked as dark as you want them. My uncle and I did that to a set of headlights for a 50 Mercury.
I will buy Jack Stands!!!
Why do I have a truck? I just had to pick the worst thing to get for my mind. It can get lowered, with seriously deep dish wheels, or raised, with big ole tires... I don't know what to pick!

that truck will look better raised with nud tires if it were 4wheel drive. Since it aint I say lower it.

Ya, that's exactly what I want. Just a light tint to them. Not completely blacked out. Not sure I'd want to do it myself though, especially on my stockers.
These are as dark as I'd go.

ticket magnet!

Or I can lower the back, get some front springs that aren't sagging, and run 31's to fill the fenderwells

I can see your delema in all that cuz either way it is gonna cost in the aspect of tires and wheels. You also got to keep in mind that if you raise it your gas mileage is gonna go down due to having to use a lil more power to get the bigger tires rolling.
I am going thru that delema right now with my 4x4. I am going to be spending roughly $600 just on 4 33" tires for it.

Before I can get to that even, I need to sell my nerf bars so I can have money just for gas

I just don't like them. If I absolutely had to have a step, I'd rather have one of those cheap steps on the side like this:
But not as gaudy.
I can 31's on it stock. Lemme rephrase, I should be able to, but my springs sag a little so it wouldn't be smart to do. But with new springs they'd fit. But I love deep dish wheels, and think they'd look great on it.

What is making you think that your springs are sagging? Deep dish do look good on those trucks.
What do your nerf bars look like?? Do you think they might fit on a Chevy 1/2 ton?

Can you see my craigslist ad? If not, here's a pic of the truck with the bars
And here's the only not stratospherically priced wheel I've foud that I like

Those rims are nice. I think they will look really good on the truck.
