The LS engines are pushrod motors and are far superior...

It sure is. I have some alternatives; if the block isn't hurt, then a complete overhaul w some nice pistons, rods and a camshaft, if the block is busted, either get another 5.0L from a fox or a 5.8L My uncle said he'll help me w the rebuild. He likes how v8s with a cam sound

I wish I could get a mach 1 in dark blue... I dont like the azure blue (too close to new grabber blue which isnt very good looking IMO), so it would have to be black

Ok, thanks. Kinda more than I can afford right now. Plus there's no way I'd sell back my stock ones. Why don't the bottoms of the lights light up though? They do on the stock ones.

It is! I thought I posted that, but I guess my post didn't go through.

I'm pretty sure like Dirk said it is the reflector part. But since I don't have a sn95 I have no idea really.

Maybe I should by one and find out...

The problem was the taillights you posted originally were way too black. That made it look even more apparent. The problem with these places and people who sell these is that they think the blacker the better and that's not what I was after. And I'm pretty sure its not what you are after.

I guess when I finally get my paint setup going I'm gonna try doing this on my own stock taillights. I think they should be red with a hint of black tint. That looks far better IMHO than a murdered out black out look.

Ya, that's exactly what I want. Just a light tint to them. Not completely blacked out. Not sure I'd want to do it myself though, especially on my stockers.

These are as dark as I'd go.

That's the place Lee hooked me up with for the 5 lug front swap. And the SVT wheels I got.
