Well in that case go for it. Problem with mine was the rings were worn out and couldn't hold the extra cylinder pressure and they gave it up. I had pulled the motor twice in 5 months. The second time I got money out of my 401k and and built a healthy 306

Yeah, there is no way I'd tear into a factory HO 302 bottom end in that scenario unless it was using a lot of oil or had an obvious problem. I've beat the living hell out of several of those motors all the way up to 150,000 miles and still only use 1/2 quart of oil between changes (and had been doing that since 60-70K).

I realize its a crap shoot either way. The Bronco is the one that needs the rebuild.

I'd focus on the Bronco...especially if your oldest daughter is going to be driving the fox. Too much power + teenage driver = bad situation

Then I'd say, go for it. And wash that engine bay while you're at it, since it'll be a cinch without the engine in the way. Pressure washer FTW!

I'm so pissed off right now! I had to tell my brother to GTFO of The Mustang since he doesn't check the fluids & stuff. The last time I borrowed it to him, he broke the seat track bec. he sits almost lied down

Not yet. That I know of. At least not on the LX. It is however leaking on the Bronco.

Coke. Or even a soft drink. But never pop.

Agreed. I will clean the f*** out of the engine bay if I pull the motor.

Stupid brothers. All they did is come out of the same vagina and they act like you have to share everything else with them for the rest of your life.

That sucks. Make him buy you a new one!

FRIDAY!!! I have one sheet of dynamat left over from the notch, so I think I'm gonna put it on the rear deck in the GT. The constant rattling is driving me nuts.

Ok I'm never gonna live this down. My battery problem wasn't the battery, it was the positive battery cable.

(Pre-emptive) Shut up Nathan, you cursed me

But my dad got a new cable today for me and installed it, and then manhandled my back bumper a bit so now the exhaust doesn't rattle on it

I'm now with my truck, bound for the beach
