on an unrelated note... arin finally got himself a bike!
put down a deposit today and i pick it up friday:
1981 Yamaha XS650. its about the physical size of a Harley Sportster, and im told in stock form its a bit faster too lol. It was in SF so i checked it out before heading to class today. paying a total of 1100 for it
can't WAIT to get this sucker home.

Seats were GONE! Guy said seats usually sell almost immediately when they go online.
But I did get the WHEELS!
10th Anniversary Cobra wheels in the charcoal color.
FNA this is an awesome day.
Plus I got a front conversion to disc with the 94-99 PBR dual piston front calipers, newly turned discs, brake lines, AND a '94-'95 spindle WITH the LCA from the '94 and the ball joint from the '94 so I won't have to run a washer/spacer on the ball joint.
All this for a price that I find hard to believe.

What a long day this one was! Went to run errands, picked up the gf, made more errands, did some minor shopping and when I left her @ her place, the car's lights began to blink! 
Put the HI beams and then they were normal. Then it did it again on the way back on a traffic jam due to a red light on all four directions 
I turned them off and then after a little while on again and they kept working properly. Also the fuse for the turn signals is blowing 
I'm stuck between a bad light switch or the turn signal switch, or a stupid shorted wire. 
I hate doing electrical stuff.

Whats going on, been pretty busy and have not given MCTC my full attention......sorry
I will try to do better in the future.

However, I'd wager that Mrs.Gary is not as happy with me as you are. After what you bought today, she'd probably like to whack me in the baby maker with a torque wrench.

He said he was bidding on another wrecked black 10th anniversary Cobra this morning but was outbid at the last second. This car was from Miami. I'm gonna keep after him to find me those seats now.
