Just ordered LCA's
One thing to keep in mind is that while the sphericals will offer a slight advantage from a handling standpoint, they will wear out FAR faster than a properly greased & maintained poly (or even rubber, which is used on the LCAs found on the BOSS 302R) bushings. If one gets 10k miles out of sphericals with little to no track use, that would be considered a long life.
I see bmr and steeda both have lca in the $150-$200 and $280 to $350. Is there a big diff in the lower priced lca vs higher priced ?
The 100 dollar J&M lca's I purchased got a boat load of amazing reviews. Like a 4.9 out of 5 for them and they had over 50 plus reviews on AM. Unless you are a brand loyal type of person for parts, I have no doubt you will be thrilled with the 100 dollar LCA's. The J&M LCA's for 100 dollars has eliminated my wheel hop issue so what more could a 350 pair of LCA's due for improved wheel hop when I have no more wheel hop? Lmao
I'm sure the $100 LCAs are fine for your setup. However, for future power mods i.e. Supercharger and what not, those won't suffice with big power for long. For a sixer and a stock 5.0 I'm confident those are just fine.
My 3.7 will never see that kind of power (lol) so for my small 297 rwhp the 100 dollar LCA's are perfect. I'm not sure how they would fair on a 440 rwhp car should one supercharge their 3.7 but for n/a definitely no need to spend more.

Wheel hop is relative and rarely ever truly gone. You're no longer experiencing the wheel hop you previously experienced given the same demand on the car. In your scenario the $100 LCAs are a win-win which is awesome. That said, increasing the output and demanding more from the car will require beefier gear all the way around which typically costs more.
