Question Can TP/Brembos go on the rear-end?

This spring I'm considering a 6P setup up front and was wondering if I could still get some use out of these track pack brembos by moving them to the rear. I searched around and haven't found anyone whose done it and posted about it.

Do you guys think these brembos will bolt right onto the rear?

Take a look at this thread maybe that will answer your question. According to this link, it looks to be involved. I know Baer and Wilwood make rear brake upgrades for our cars.

Hope that helps.

Other than for looks it would probably be a complete waste of money, plus you would probably end up over powering the rear wheels unless you put the worst pads on the back.

Could they be put on the back? Yes, with enough work and money almost anything can be done but it is absolutely not any kind of bolt on, would take LOTS of custom fabrication.

No parking brake either as the factory rear calipers have the parking brake built in.

Like it has been said before it's not cost effective. Definitely not less than this.....

I don't have this but if I were to need to upgrade the rears, this would be the way I would do it. You don't NEED much more than this with great track pads to put some serious work in. If all you are going for is looks then by all means spend the money on a custom job that won't out-perform the Steeda kit with good pads.

I wasn't planning on upgrading the rears at all, I just wanted to know if I could toss the brembos in back after upgrading the fronts but yeah, looks to be way to much of a PITA. Thanks for the info guys.

Check this badboy out Yellow Jacket Mustang. It's a Sema Vortech car, they put Baer 6 piston on all 4 corners. They look awesome in yellow. Of course they have deep pockets, and it would still be a pain, but man it would look bad a.
