Ordered battery and brake resivoir covers, cat delete pipes, installed redline hood struts. Seriously thinking about the Lund tune with the lopey idle. Still waiting on the MGW shifter to show up.

 

Good list of mods there, don't for get the the sound tube delete kit from Cooltech. Gonna install the MGW yourself? Hope you have a good strap wrench!

 

Oh yeah, forgot, I ordered the sound tube delete kit too! I knew I was forgetting something!

Yeah, I'll do it myself. I have a strap wrench and I'll heat it up some with a hot air gun.

 

Took Miss Scarlett out to get gas and my girls were like can we go too Dad! They enjoy watching the attention the car gets!

UPS brought me some stuff this past week:


Installed the Brake reservoir cover and battery covers, Redline hood struts and Sound tube delete:



And for some reason I didn't take any pics, but I also installed the MGW shifter. Took it for a quick (real quick!!) test drive. Turns out I can actually make a quick 2-3, 3-4 and 4-5 shift at 7500 rpms! Woohoo!!! 10 miles and I really like the shifter.

I still have in the box a set of Jegs cat delete pipes but I need to order a tune first. Thinking Lund lopey cam tune. Anyway, a very good day!!

 

Nice, are the hood struts easy?

 

They will take 20 minutes if you take a beer break halfway through.

 

I just sat in her for a couple minutes, turned on the radio, but then got depressed because it may as well not have a radio, and all I want to do is friggin drive it

 

I took the inflator out of the trunk to fill a low tire on my Element

 

Removed the exhaust baffles. Well my girlfriend did anyway. I don't fit under the car as well as she does!
