A fairly common occurrence here becomes something much, much cooler when surround by tiny European cars. I remember how big a 3 Series felt on some country roads.

Miss Scarlett and I picked up my daughters at school today. They love the attention she gets especially from all the boys?!? Shake fist!!!

 

Ordered another couple sets of exhaust plates today - 1/2" and 5/8". I thought I'd keep the originals for posterity, try out the 1/2 and 5/8 size and then drill out the 5/8 until it's as loud as I want to go. I expect I'll use the 1/2" set for road trips and something larger for when I'm just around town, which is most of the time. Maybe I'll pick up the electric valves if changing them out turns out to be too much trouble, we'll see.

 

Mike did you ever just take the baffles out completely? I did and she sounds good that way IMO.

 

Took mine out the first day I had her home and they haven't been in since. Don't ever see them going back in either.

 

I haven't yet. I'm not at home so getting under the car is not real convenient. I did hear a Boss with the plates removed at it was louder than I want, but then it had Shelby mufflers too.

This will give me options and also allow me to break the 'other' boss in slowly.

 

I have put Quorra through hell this week . She has been through some of the worst weather i have ever driven through and took it like a Champ! I need a new truck asap hahaaa.

Nooooo, was scared to death! Raining so hard could barely see where i was driving. Streets flooding everywhere i went. If i could see somewhere to pull over i would have. I didn't stop for being afraid of getting rear ended. It was brutal. Glad that weather has passed after 4 days of driving through it.

 

Um, the 'other' boss is the boss of the household. She may balk at riding in the Boss if it's too loud so I need to ease her into it.

 

Ohh sorry I got rid of my 'other' Boss so I'm down to just one now. Didn't think of it that way...duh!!!
