Thanks for the compliments, it is indeed a sick looking little wing. I'll be sure to provide a review after some track time.

I am a bit concerned about the integrity of the ends under high speed. The buttresses for the wing are obviously under the mid portion, but most of the down force occurs on the edges (you can see the purposefull down-sloping on the ends), without any under supports. Obviously the 302r wing has done well, but I dont believe it had the same shape. Not sure what level of testing Steeda has done for this particular wing (no disrespect, I'm sure they have tested it), but I'm going to be hitting 150 on those long straights, so we'll see.

that looks really good, that is the wing ford should have used on these cars. I can never tell co or RR in pics, but i am going to pretend that is CO no matter what. How are you going to plug the holes left from the factory wing?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I have to say, the Steeda wing looks great on your car. You're the first car I've seen with it. I just ordered the same one for my Ingot Silver 5.0, and am really torn between painting it black or having it painted body color (see my attached photochops).

Do you know if Ford trunk lids come pre-drilled? I'll be getting a new trunk without the OEM spoiler on it. Wondering if I'll have to fill old holes.

Yeah, I found this thread after I already ordered the wing - and makes me even more stoked about it. I didn't even think about the end plates being painted anything other than black - that's a good idea. I think it'd look sick on your boss.

I didn't see them from Steeda pre-painted (says specifically they are not - not sure if you could request them to paint it). Body shop is going to match mine.

I don't have a boss, just a regular Ingot Silver GT with no stripes, so I'm still torn between black/ingot silver. I'll post pics next week after installation.

Late response.

The wing comes in a primer black. I left mine as is. The side wings are also black, which must be assembled with the main wing, using Allen head screws. The wing requires two additional holes for installation. Removing the old wing is a pain, but worth it. Ive got sme installation details somewhere on this forum. Have fun. I'm getting ready to test it at VIR tomorrow. I'll let y'all known what I think.

Had mine installed and painted body color (I felt like I didn't have enough black on my car to leave the wing black).

Nice! Great color scheme & I agree with 908, it needs a front splitter! The world challenge splitter is shorter than the LS splitter if that helps!

Thanks for the comments guys. I definitely want a front splitter, but just don't have the money. Problem is that I would have to switch out the front fascia for most splitters, which would be a decent bit.

Looks great. Good call on the silver. You'll definitely need a nice front splitter to even out the increased downforce.
