THE BEST MUSTANG EVER!
You're just refusing to see what EVERY car reviewer and PROFESSIONAL driver has said about the Boss 302. They have NEVER made those statements about the GT500.
You and a few other GT500 owners spend all your time on the Boss forum, why?
You contribute nothing of value, you offer no insights, you're just here to bleat over and over again that the GT500 is a better Mustang. I don't think I see any Boss owners going over to the Shelby forum and bashing the GT500.
This is a classic example of an inferiorty complex that all you GT500 owners are suffering from. So why not try and grow up and just enjoy your car and let the owners of the Boss 302, who are in the Boss 302 forum, enjoy their cars.

You guys are great. The Shelby wasn't intended to be a road racer. A Shelby with a little suspension work will kill the Boss. Then again, a boss with a blower should take the Shelby but I'm not sure how well it will hold the road with an extra 150hp. Might do great dunno. If road racing is your thing then I understand. But dont down the Shelby because of a lap time in a magazine article. I invite you boss guys to line up next to a GT500 and try your luck. The Boss is a great car and it does what it is supposed to do. But if I were gonna road race a mustang, it would be a built GT before I spent way over invoice for a boss. Bang for the buck is the way I see it. And the GT500 is still the king of the mustangs. That's the way it's always been.
These launch problems have not been a problem for the Boss.

What are you stupid?
Best handling, best performing, best driving. I could not believe how light and nimble the Boss feels compared to the GT500. It stays glued to the road and always feels balanced. The GT500 ALWAYS feels nose heavy, it's a heavy car.
The Shelby is a fine car but it just was never engineered the way the Boss was.

Now if you want to pretend that problem doesn't exist then fine.
And I will ask again....why are you here? You come across as a complete jerk-off. Go spend your time on the Shelby forum and listen to the crickets.

I'll give this to you. The Boss may be the better racer completely bone stock with no mods at all. Better time slips that is.
Throw slicks on both and have an all out drag race. Let's see that.

The other reason people come into the Boss forum is because its entertaining to watch how bent out of shape some of you guys get unless everything everyone posts is slobbering, lavish praise of the Boss. If someone differs from that formula, a lot of you guys act like like they came to your house while you were at work, banged your ol' lady, kicked your dog, and had your kid calling him daddy.
Jeez, its a car. Its an internet forum. Lighten up guys and relax a bit. Its all just good natured ribbing.

you did buy a gt with a optional package on it.
the boss and gt are very close. The v6 mustang has less in common.
I think alot of our boss owners on the site are vett guys that couldnt afford a vett. When I take my vett out I meet alot of these "vett guys" and they act just like our boss guys.
