I can already see the reviews now

"Today we have something extraordinary! Finally a battle of the modern american elites. The SRT Viper and its monster V10. The all new C7 Corvette and its supercar hunting prowess. And the all new Ford. No real name needed, its the fastest and most capable vehicle Ford has ever produced, hence the name. While some of you may hate it, actions soeak louder than words, and all three of these cars could make an entire continent silent in awe. So enough with the chit chat... Lets do a drag race!"

I can remember when the S-197 first came out, as there were dealer mark up's on the first GT's due to such high demand that Ford couldn't keep up with customer orders..

I placed my order in October of 2004 and waited until February of 2005 before my car was finally delivered to my local dealership..

I don't think of the Cadillac CTS-V as a car for stodgy old people, and if Lincoln is going to survive ? They need to come out with a sports coupe to attract more customers in order to compete with BMW, Audi, Mercedes Benz and of course Cadillac !

Ford could always bring back the Ford GT, perhaps a less refined version or design something similar to make it more affordable..

I don't feel sorry for them at all.. If they're so stupid enough to pay such outrageous markups.. Then they obviously have nobody else to blame but themselves !

Well what i mean is i feel sorry because they lack the brainpower to comprehend that it simply shouldnt be that expensive. They can easily get a much better car for 100k+

I can't imagine they'd do that. Not cost/time effective to have different tire sizes. Also could leave to issues properly calibrating speedos.

Yea true. Well i mean look at the standard gt and the brembo gt. stock is 18" while the brembo is 19". Theres a different size there. If theres a difference in rim size then why couldnt there be a difference in width as well? And the gt500 has two different set-ups for each package. And the v6? Well theres the base which has the 17" while the performance pack bumps it to 18" although keeping the same width.
But what im saying is we already have a range from 17"-20" rim sizes, why not just throw wider or taller tires out back for better traction?

This is why perhaps I see a 13-14 GT in the garage next year. I will refuse to pay over 35k for a GT! Hopefully find a nice 13-14 with low miles for around 25k with all the hype from the 15. Or maybe the 15 will blow some socks off and it will be a must have..

No rake or 3" wheel gap. We are not in the 60s, 70s or 80s anymore.

Eh, a little rake is trendsetting and visually dynamic. But I agree with no wheel gap. BMW excels at that.

I think this may have been mentioned before but I hope the new design still allows your arm to hang out comfortably when the window is down of course!!! I don't like designs where your arm is elevated or lowered from the standard/comfortable position.
