Apology letters to a new generation.
Apology letters to a new generation.
I put the '15 down so many times I lost count, so now, I must apologize to this beautiful beast:
Dear 2015 mustang, I'm sorry for putting you down before you were ever introduced to the world. I now see that you are a bada** new mustang, you rule.
P.S my SN95 is sitting beside me so I have to go, tata.

End of lame letter.

Dear 2015 Mustang, lol
I am sorry for the way I have doubted you. I was afraid you'd look of more plastic and not as elegant as you should and do. Your curves are smooth and your lines are long. You aren't very muscular, but you do look lean and clean.
Although I do not praise you nor want you, I do respect you and am glad to welcome you to the long line of Mustangs.

I think it takes a big man to admit he was wrong. There were a lot of 2015 haters out there but you are the first I have seen to repent and join the corral again. Welcom fellow rider of Rohan! This new mustang will be car of the year. I said it before and I will say it again. Car of the year! Down with Chevy Clownmaros and Dodge Chumpsters!
Ford even threw us a bonus with the upgraded coyote 5.0 engine and I think they will eventually go with DI. A 500hp GT in the future is not out of the question. I want an new SVT mustang but the GT is so great it will make it difficult to wait and I will turn green seeing people riding in new GTs while I am driving an old and antiquated 2005 S197 mustang cloner

I make no apologies for my tastes. The car is nice looking and I'm sure it's performance will be amazing....but it's not Mustang looking enough for me. For me the Mustang died in 1974 and was reborn in 2005. 2015, for me, has lost it's way (visually).
It's fine, it is what it is and the new owners will no doubt love their car.
Yes it will run circles around my car but I'll be driving a MUSTANG while they will be driving a car with the name "mustang" on it.

I'm still not feeling the new design at all.
It does not look "muscle" enough. Third brake light up top the rear window and the big reflector centered in the rear diffuser? And those headlights?
Not feeling it.

does nothing for me . and the bad looking center console look is why i instantly gave up any thought of mustang or camero. but it was just looking at the options. i didnt want to get the mustang then say dang look at that camero. but was never any choice i wanted the mustang ever since it came out with the retro look
After blacking out the pony emblem in the grille and getting rid of the GT badge on the rear decklid, I'm really starting to like the 2015 GT. I think it's going to look great in person because of how much wider and lower it sits. It's going to make the current models look fat and squatty looking side by side. I think the fact that it's going to have ~440 HP, bigger Brembo brakes & rotors, proper performance size tires in the rear (275 I heard), improved gearbox, IRS, and all the other improvements makes it more attractive as well.

My view of the whole thing is that this is a new era, new mustang, I like they car they reviled but I still don't like it taking the place of a wonderful car I've known all my life, and it will never be the original, but there's no changing it so we might as well live with it and adapt to it. And I guess we still have all of the muscle stangs that came before the redesign, so that's cool. And I still have my fat assed Mustang so I'm cool with it.
