Ok ill speak on part of the younger generation. The majority of my friends (16-25yrs old) love the look of the current and past mustangs. Not necessarily for the retro cues and styling, but how well the package is put together. The sequential lights, rim choices, front end, interior, trunk space, etc. The reason why its so well liked are the muscular shapes, sharp lines, aggressive profile. I would love to see the other renders with maybe a few more modern cues and that to me would be perfect

^ +1 I'm the younger generation as well and I know ford is saying that they want to ditch the retro but that's the reason I got my mustang. I'm a BMW guy at heard but something about the american muscle look intrigues me. I hope they don't ditch the retro look completely. The blue car looks like a Taurus and a Bentley GT, way too bulky looking. Keep some retro cues, add sleek modern lines, and it'll appeal to me.

Just not a fan of the new front ends and grills. Not digging the '13 Taurus from end either.

Have we not been here before? Remember back in January when these appeared on Ford's Facebook page?

Almost everything that's being discussed about the '15 taking cues from the Evos concept must surely point to these designs?

For what it's worth, the second image is a pretty nice rear, from the few details we can see.........the front, not so much.

At the time, these were dismissed as being just Fusion coupes.........and that's pretty much what the Photoshopped Evos/Mustangs look like to me.

I still want something unique.....and not related to any other current Ford design.

I think when it's done it will be unique. Nothing unique about M3's or Astons, Fox Body Mustangs, 90s Acura, Alfa Romeo, Mini Cooper, Land Rover, Lamborghini and Porsche for that matter. And yet they all stuck out. What I see in those clay models is awesome potential. But keep the mind open. I think it will be fine. If not they will change it again.

Look at Porsche today compared to the first models. Virtually the same. How they do it we'll probably never know. The Mustang has held its own throughout time but lets see how much longer the design can carry. The new model should be instantly recognizable as a Mustang. No badges, emblems, lettering or any other cues. I really look foreard to seeing what Ford has in store for us

Can you put a 21st century Shaker on that thing and make a 2015 Mach 1.

These magazine "sneak peaks" really make me laugh. They just copy + paste the current car over that company's hottest concept for that year.

Terrible proportions. At least stretch the thing to give it a long hood short deck look.

So your avatar is likely pretty close then.......

Just so long as it's instantly recognisable as a Mustang.......
