Who me?

Your drawing looks awesome Doug, not sure about the S7-ish side scoop though.

Thanks Chris...yeah I'm still noodling the design so this is by no means cast in stone.

Chris, you're going to get some haters you know!

Fine by me though, tighten up that IRS, balance the car a little more, put in EPAS, MyTouch and a better dash and I'd still be all over it.

Doug and I seem to be on the same wavelength as far as car design goes, he can actually put it on paper though. I've seen your other work and I am with you on those as well.

Thumbs up

Doug.....seems you can do no wrong. Why oh why oh why are you not employed by Mr J Mays?

If the 2014 has to lose some of the "retro", this is a great way to go. Kind of Mustang meets Aston. Can we see a front 3/4, too? Pretty please?

I'm still lovin' this one though

Thanks guys..I really have no idea what the front of either of those cars looks like. I've sketch so many noses and tossed them out I lost count.
I'll finish them some day.

I really like that blue one. It newer and sportier, but retains much of the mustang.

I see 458 Italia in that blue sketch, but that's just me . Unlike the current car, these tail lights look "correct" - even with the angle cut on the bottom.

I'm definitely liking the blue sketch, Doug. I detect some Saleen influence, which is definitely a good thing!

I do know one thing... I am ready for the step bumper aka park bench on the front of the current models to go away. Just a nice forward thrust grille that looks like a mouth not too tall and not bisected with anything that looks like a bumper bar. This will likely require that the front edge of the hood to move away from being the actual top of the grille opening and set back hatch style so that the front edge of the hood is not damaged in minor collisions.

So basically, move to the more modern design like every other car is now. Like every model besides SUV's and trucks. Sounds like you guys are wanting a Taurustang or an SN95. Though if they change the theme up for the Mustang, it could work, just don't make it as booooooriiiing as the GTO was. Ford also has stated that the design styling behind the Fiesta, Focus, etc. will not be a part of the Mustang. So they say.

I guess I'm old school and don't mind the bumper. But I'll stay open minded.

Hey Adam, I like the accentuated curves and the front end evokes a kind of snake like image the way the lights are set. Nice work.

I like it, but I think it's too close to the current car to be anything like what we can expect in 2014. The rear is very Saleen like, too.
