Would.....that I had the first clue how to use Photoshop! That white one was a chop done by Black Bullitt back on post 635. You probably realise it's based on an Aston V8 Vantage

Didn't mean to be offensive but I disagree I think it looks like an improved 2005 mustang

I would not say horrible but, If ever there was a Mustang that could be called RETRO This is it. It may have worked for 2005 but as for now ....This designed has past its time.

As much as I like the current mustang and some elements of that blue drawing, I feel the redesign needs something newer. Something between a fox body, porsche 928, and other similar sized cars would be good. The more weight the mustang loses, the better. And realistic or not, keeping the 2013 body for 2014 will only mean quite a lot of lost sales. 2005-2014 with only slight differences is just too much considering the competition.

It looks like the aftermath of a drunken hookup between an Aston and an M3. But considering how great looking it's parents are, that's not a bad thing. Not bad at all.

I really like this muscular rendition. I keeps the Mustang "look" with much added muscularity of the muscle car image, but adds such an exotic flare.
HOT!!

^ I thought the same thing. Definitely has the cues from the current design language, and that front end is right in line with a futuristic variation of the current Mustang's front. I dig it!

Wow,I think I'm in love with the front end on the second one! Hell, even the rest of the car has great potential if it were done up in a more production friendly manner. Got any other pics of that car? How about the rear? That is the type of leap toward I hope Ford is considering, a true game changer.

Interesting, very interesting design studies. Goes to show that the Mustang's design DNA need not be unrelievedly retro but rather, can be very cutting edge too.

Not to say I agree with everything about these design solutions, but they are quite compelling in dispelling the notion that a true Mustang is some tweak of some previous design.

That could also be a visual for the rumored eco-supercar Ford is supposedly working on... something in the GT performance arena...??

I guess there's a few elements to like but those concepts are mostly just awful. More Batmobile than Mustang...

Those black ones are horrid; absolutely disgusting. Let's go back to the white, Aston Martin inspired car.

A Mustang has to have some practicality. While I see that some design elements can carry over, the further away from a practical design, fewer design elements will be usable. I would think that a very low height design would not work as well given the likely shorter body length of the next generation car. Those designs could work for a supercar, but how many people would honestly buy something like that? Practicality can be boring, but it sells a lot more.
