Yeah that make much sense the way it came out! Think what I was trying to say is that I like that drawing, but that I don't think that is where it will end up. But yeah it very much has the fastback going on very well.

Funny story about the 67-68 cars, the guy who handled the restyle was an ex chrysler guy who thought the 64-66 cars were a bit boring but in the end, he considered the 64-66 cars better looking.

However, I'm in agreement, I like Burn's sketch, that would be some serious sexy if the next gen car was based off of it.

Turbo Twin,

those two designs are tight. I like the retro look on the yellow one. The Black one has a Lambo - BMW look. But it is still tight. By then they should have the 6.0, get rid of the live axle, add sequential shifting auto with steering wheel paddles, and add torsen diff for GT.

the front reminds me of a 300. Change the front and I like it.

Cool

This is a very old 'chop, which you've probably see before. However, I love the side treatment. Add a more aggressive front and rear end and I'd buy it!

I redid the the drawing below a bit lowered the grill. I like this a lot more than the gold one above. now it needs a transaxle IRS and the engine moved back a few inches.

The side profile of this sketch works great, but that front end is horrible- both the headlights and the bumpers grille are the wrong style. That grille sort of reminds me of a DB9 piece.

One thing is for sure, the next generation needs to be smaller- like a modern FOX. Just thinking out loud here- modern styling like this sketch in FOX body dimensions.

As much as I love my '68 Fastback I would not want to see such a blatant design copy on a 2014. I think it would look cool but I don't think the design would age well on a new car.

Looks a little to much like a two door Charger.

Sorry TT, do not want. Would have wanted in 2007. After seeing the 2010, this just isn't as humbling. After seeing the C shaped window, I just don't know if that is going to be a good look on the Mustang in non-SN95 form.

This all being said from a guy that has now convinced himself to start a resto-mod 68 Fastback project.
