2015 Photoshop/Rendering Thread
From what I have read, executives at Ford have already stated that they want to make a car that shows that the Mustang can be around for another 50 years. With everything they said, it seems like there is no chance to get a highly retro car in 2014. It will surely have a lot of design elements that scream mustang, but in an overall package that looks newer.
On a different note, some of the concept drawings on this thread have really small windows. For me, however neat the design is, if I can not see out of the car because of a lack of windows, I will not buy one. Mustang owners already rightly make fun of the Camaro owners about the windows. I want function first. Give me smaller, lighter, but with just as much space for people, and big windows that show me the entire road, and I will be happy.

Aesthetically, I think these high-waisted, slab-sided designs tend to make the cars look pudgy, heavy and ugainly, hardly the traits I'd want a performance car to convey.
I hope the days of hiked up beltlines and the glass area of a pair of bi-focals fades into history.

That is cool.
This is still my favorite!
I do like that one. The kicked up window belt line is an interesting variation that I like which does remind me of early 70's Ford Fastbacks. The swoopy front fenders that rise above the hoodline is nice too.

HOLT CR*P!!!! I think you might have something. Now that is a "EVOLUTIONARY" design. Not sure about the quarter window but could grow on me. Can you do a front elevation or front three quarter.

But it has a door scallop, two doors, triple bar tail lights and a long nose.. Might be to retro. LOL

I'm liking it. New designs always take awhile to grow on me, but so far so good bud
