I have to say I'm disappointed so far. If this is what the 2015 Mustang will look like, then I'm buying a 2013 and keeping it . It doesn't look at all like a Mustang. It's like they are trying to be an Euro car. It looks generic Euro-Japan coupe (Japan coupes try to look Euro too). If I want an Euro coupe, well I can just buy the real thing. I want a American pony car. I'm at least glad it didn't turn out to be the corvette wanna be designs from the beginner of the thread. But it's still trying too hard to be an Aston, just uglier. Hope that test mule is decked out with fake body parts to trip people off under those black covers, and the actual car will actually look like an American pony car and a Mustang at that. Fingers crossed.

I hate when a car design is a radical departure from the previous. Well except for the Juke. That should totally change. Horrid looking thing, that.
I agree with this completely. We all hit on Aston Martin, Porsche and even Jag. Why isn't this the long time redo that the Mustang needed to evolve in a better way rather than the random ideas tossed into the design hat it had become?

So you hate the fox-body Mustang? The longest running Mustang of all time!

Welcome to the show! Thanks for voicing your opinion. I enjoy hearing the different ideas that are cast out there. Some people will disagree with you, but it's all good.

SN95 was also a radical departure from the previous model. As was the 2005-2009 & the 74-78. Even the 71-73 were different than the 65-70 models.

So it seems that you hate almost ALL Mustangs??

71-73, yes. I liked the 79 plus as it returned to Mustang principals the 74 plus lost even as stylistically it tried to pretend it returned to its roots. As the Fix bodies evolved they were just a decent car, but nothing lust worthy like a 65-70. When the ' 05 came out I went in armed with cash to buy one, but it was too slow, and too heavy so I bought another BMW instead. The Boss pulled me out of Foreign cars. And it is fun, but lacking in refinement that I would have like to have seen. Yet I was willing to let that go to keep the car light and agile. I have high expectations if the 15 and will hold off buying my next car in till I drive one. I want to own a Ford that I love and have to make no excised for. If Corvette can deliver, so can Mustang.

PS. I may not hate all Mustangs but let's be honest they were never as good as the 67-70 Cougars. My first car and the one by which all others are judged. In fact I went into the 3 series because it was the closest thing I had ever driven to a '69 Cougar for today.

Looks great! Squared up and muscular but smooth and elegant at the same time. I like it!

One thing though, if it were me it shorten the nose height though, looks almost flat. Maybe make more of a shark nose and smooth it down to aston-ish proportions.

Sweet. A refresh of the current mustang. Looks similar to the 2010-14 models.

Nope. I don't think this matches the overall styling from the mules at all. I think it will have much more curve in the body lines. Not the straight back lines. I like them for what they were but I hope this doesn't carry through.
