2015 Photoshop/Rendering Thread
Brewman, the only one I'll give you credit for is the Impala/Chevelle/Malibu styling you posted. Now I'm going to tear down the others.
CTS-V co developed in Germany to take on the BMW lines and possibly the Mercedes.
Barracuda changed it's Citroen styling to the Challenger's body shell. Without Challenger, Charger and Satellite, the Barracuda would have died an early death.
Pontiac copy of the Corvette, need I give a background on Corvettes being a direct copy of European styling as a result of time spent in the war.
Corvette, see above.
Vector, influenced by angular, Bertone designed lamborghinis. Nearly a rip off.
Oh GT40? Really? It's British by the way. The Daytona coupe is another story though.
I might have missed one but I think I got my point across.
Styling is like a box of chocolates.

OK if the caddy was designed in Germany so be it but that car looks about as American as they come.
Vector was developed by Aircraft Engineers, Loockheed I think but I could wrong, and the body is designed by the did tunnel more than anything else.
As far as the CUDA. Well is is my favorite over the challenger so I picked it even thought he Challenger body came first and I chose the 70s version for a reason.
And the Banshee was design in 1964 by DeLorean Before the 68 Stingray was designed. GM killed it due to possible competition to the Vette. Although it was really intended to compete with the Mustang and thus bore the Camaro and Firebird.

Another thing I love are European designs with American power plants. Pantera, GT40, that Pinnfarina Corvette that never was, etc. even though some had their issues. I am a fan if the Mustang has a more European influence of sorts.

You're right, I'm just busting your chops. I really wish the Banchee had been produced. Pontiac had more potential as an enthusiasts car company than any of GM's brands. I can only imagine if they had not been held down by big GM during their biggest moments. I'm a bit of a Pontiac fan. I still love that GM at least put in a couple of Holdens in Pontiac form here. Now if I could get a G8 Wagon.

Well the 2013 MKS looks pretty nice but the rest of the line just looks like rebadged FORDs. Which I know they are but they just look to much like a FORD. I think Lincoln needs to figure our who they want to be. they seem lost.
