I want to say it looks more like a Pontiac than a Mustang. If you give it the split grill it would look like a Pontiac. Maybe it's a reflection of how generic it looks.

That's a very nice looking car but I just don't see anything there that says mustang to me.

 

I just said the first boring looking car that came to mind.

 

Well i tried that and it looked odd, It didnt look like would be able to have a V8. I gave it a more shark nose look though.

This seems right to me. It wouldn't surprise me to see something very much like this as a final product.

 

A couple of months ago someone claimed they saw it and that there were louvered brake lights and the "third brake light" was low in the bumper. I don't know if chaz took that person's report and incorporated it or what. But its interesting that those details have popped up again after so long and after so many other renders with them.

It is growing on me. The green helps. I guess I am just a Classicist. I think what you have done is create something that is sort of Hyper post modern. It is so far evolved that it is a bit of a ......shock? for lack of a better word. But I is growing on me.

 

Did Ford actually say when the official unveil will be?

The red one above is indeed the best of them. It's the only one which looks msucular enough to be a Mustang. But it is still a bit too plain.
The cad one is hideous (red and green). The green one right above, which seems to be based on a side shot of an Aston is also not Mustang at all.

 

Before i posted the original gray one i showed it to 2 of my friends, I asked them what car do you think that is. they hesitated but asked if was some type of mustang. I didnt say yes but if 2 people that dont know a lot about cars identified it as a mustang then i think my job is complete. if you dont believe me go ahead and show this picture to someone ask them what they think it is.

 

Where they Americans? I'm thinking yes. How many house hold name sport coupes with a long hood are there in the U.S.?

I bet if you showed this to people in England they would ask if it was a Jag or some type of Aston.
