2015 Photoshop/Rendering Thread
I agree that's what I've been thinking. Based on what we've been told it shouldn't resemble much of the retro look.
I agree CCT, I Don't see it. I do see it as an evolution of Mustang styling cues, but not "Retro" or anywhere near a refresh of the current car. But I'm seeing it in 3 D in My Mind, and I know how different this car is going to look.
Another One... DHG Anyone?

Shawn...the more I see your latest render, the more I like it. I wonder if the front will be more shark nosed and by that I mean the top of the very front will be protruding out a little more than the bumper? I could be wrong but that's what I see in that other front end spy shot with the blue tarp.
The truly fascinating thing, for me anyways, is that even with all the renders out there, with people that have exceptional skillsets and proper tools available, the image we seem to be gravitating around is done in MS Paint.
Shawn, I hope you're right with your design, amigo.

Again, solely based on that side profile rendition it looks nothing more than a refresh of the current stang.
Sorry you don't see it but solely based on that side profile rendition it looks like the current 2010-14 side profile. It looks like a refresh and not a dramatic looking difference than the current stang. I'm certainly not complaining because I love the current body style however its not a totally new design concept and dramatic change. The 2010 Camaro was a huge styling design change over the last 2002 Camaro. Again, solely based on that side profile rendition it looks nothing more than a refresh of the current stang.
Thanks Guys, I appreciate the compliments. It's funny you said that Thomas, that's exactly what I wanted to do when I was younger, I've always wanted to be a car designer, with Ford being the company I wanted to design for but things came up and i just couldn't afford to go to school for it.
To me they look as they should, Mustang DNA brought thoroughly up to date. I have always believed the so called retro '05-13 models to actual be a brand reset. The fact that they got labelled retro is simply because they returned to first gen styling cues. Not that it's been reset, it's evolving as it should. Smart IMHO. I hate when a car design is a radical departure from the previous. Well except for the Juke. That should totally change. Horrid looking thing, that.

I too wanted to grow up to work for Ford, but in marketing. So often they had great cars that simply fell behind better marketing by the competition. Even to this day, I'd leave my own company for a chance to help Ford sell more Mustangs.
Well, this is my first post here. But I'm a long time lurker. :-)
I have to say I'm disappointed so far. If this is what the 2015 Mustang will look like, then I'm buying a 2013 and keeping it . It doesn't look at all like a Mustang. It's like they are trying to be an Euro car. It looks generic Euro-Japan coupe (Japan coupes try to look Euro too). If I want an Euro coupe, well I can just buy the real thing. I want a American pony car. I'm at least glad it didn't turn out to be the corvette wanna be designs from the beginner of the thread. But it's still trying too hard to be an Aston, just uglier. Hope that test mule is decked out with fake body parts to trip people off under those black covers, and the actual car will actually look like an American pony car and a Mustang at that. Fingers crossed.
