Frustrated since the sales person and finance manager told me April 6th, the the 11th, then the 17th and now they don't have any idea besides "hoping" it comes in this week.

 

Feeling pretty good that I ordered a Black GT PP with Recaros after reading these posts... mine wen into production today according to COTUS... though the new window sticker link doesn't work on mobile..

 

I do recall reading here or another forum that some owners are complaining about the leather seats not laying flat or creasing. Maybe there is a mfr. problem with the way the seats/stitching was designed.

 

Mine went into production today. Time will tell if the current assemblies have the new/revised seat stitching.

 

I would assume that they have the new/revised seat in them.

I work in the engineering department at a manufacturing facility.
We would never let an old process or a bad part like a old seat or bad seat continue to be used knowing that we would have to change them eventually.

That doubles your work.
If yours went into the build process i would expect them to have the issue sorted out and that means that the cars ahead of you are already completed and we should be receiving them soon.

 

Just to clarify, I do have the leather seats in my GT Premium. Ordered it on 4/9.

I ordered my Race Red 2015 Ecoboost Nonpremium with PP April 16, got my VIN today, estimated delivery by the end of the month.

How are you all tracking your status online? I have only had sporadic contact with dealer and would love to be able to track it myself!

My car is in transit as of today with an expected delivery date of 5/24. I guess the leather seats in it are the new revised stitching ones. We shall see how fast the rail/trucking systems work up here in the northeast!!!

Hi Venmus - that is a sweet looking ride. I have never been a fan of blue for a car, but the more pics I see of this blue the more I like it. It looks real sharp on your GT.

That would be really cool to be able to track the rail car it's on to the northeast. I am guessing it ends up around Wilmington, DE where I discovered there is a CSX TDSI Automotive location for off loading.

That is the loading facility my Mustang went through. As soon as it was off the rail car, my dealer went to pick up the car rather than let it sit in trucking company lot for the three days before it could be delivered.
