2015 Ordered/Built/Delivered Thread
Hi Everyone,
I have been reading this forum posts for sometime now and it gives me a lot of confidence to see the support and happiness that is shared amongst the group when ordering a mustang. My dealer submitted my order on 4/29/2015 for a Black Ecoboost Premium convertible with Redline Premier Trim interior and 18" foundry black Wheels. I am excited and can't wait to get more information. Deysha, you are the rockstar of this group so hoping to hear from you more in keeping us updated.
Thanks.

Thanks, fusion37! I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Congrats and thank you for the PM, DeviledBLUE!
Thank you for the support, Son of Growly!
It’s on the rail car. Doesn’t show it left yet, but it will soon, BigEasyGT.
Welcome and congrats, stanggod! Thank you for the PM and the kind words. I’ll get back to you soon.

Hi, all! New to the forum -- ordered a 2015 GT Premium Fastback on April 22 and am still waiting to get my VIN from the dealer so that I can start tracking the progress online and hopefully get an EDD sometime soon. Sounds like anything from 7 weeks to 14+ is fair game lately? That's too long!
Would love to hear any tips you guys have on tracking progress!

There is 4 phases as you can see here.
- Ordered (You know & are in control)
- Born (pretty easy & fast)
- Limbo (You have to be VERY PATIENT, nobody can help you or Ford on that phase)
- In transit (you want to be there soon & you down want to get back Limbo an other time )
Timeline no one understand the pattern (Color, Engine, Package)
Most of the time Rep and Regional Rep told me it's a Transportation Issue
Good Luck
Rail service up in the Dakotas is slow. We have oil, coal, and grains all competing for the same rail space. They even stopped the Amtrak service across ND and bussed people across the state instead for a while. I drive by the rail yard everyday in hopes of seeing my ruby red convertible sitting in the lot
Deysha just told me it's already in Louisiana waiting to be trucked to the dealer, good lord! Must have shipped over the weekend. Maybe my dealer was right and I'll be in it this week!
Except of course for the potholes in new orleans. I live and work about 5 minutes from the city so the roads are ok here, but once I cross the canal into "true" new orleans I've gotta keep a sharp eye out especially since the PP has no spare.
Houston is just as bad... road quality here are the worst I've ever seen!
Sounds like a new thread developing here - best roads/worst roads?
Here in Montreal we have potholes. Recently they have been converting themselves into block long sink holes in the downtown core. Fun.
But at least in Louisiana and Texas you can drive year round - my car will be under snow for 4 months of the year!
Happy driving!
