2013 MY refresh
Thanks TN....nice find :-)
OK, a game of spot the difference. Most obvious is the smaller lower grille, smaller lower fogs (with possible slot for LED DRLs below), different vent in the hood......

I'm thinking this is a GT mule. The hood doesn't show enough air extraction compared to the current GT500, and an educated guess would think with a new blower and larger motor on tap, they wouldn't close the hood up as much.
Comparing that picture to the other spy shots listed in that link, the upper and lower grille openings are smaller than the GT500. They are similar in shape, however.
The SVT PP wheels may be used right now because FRPP makes them in a 19x9 size, which will likely be used again in some form, and going this route would keep potential new wheel designs under wraps.

they might have put the wrap over the extractors, if this is a GT mule then they must be using GT500 elements for confusions sake. I could possibly see this being the new lower bumper but the final car having a grill and hood more like the current GT. Still i cant see the "update" for 2013 being giving the GT a knockoff GT500 fascia and hood. i would hope ford shows a bit more imagination than that. not that i dont love the look of the GT500 but they need to be differentiated

Whatever it is. Look closely. It's got a hood mocked after the GT500 as well as a smaller GT500 grille with GT Driving Lights (Blackouts), but the bumper cover is a modified V6 Bumper with LED strips is what that looks like where the below Fog Lights location are.
ha its probably a suspension mule and they put a mess of different parts on it for fun so they can watch us on the boards endlessly debate what it is.. i do see 9 guests viewing this thread at time of positing
I think it's definitely a GT500. They aren't going to change the GTs to a GT500 front end, that would be stupid. I think those slots below the lower fogs are for brake cooling ducts.
I'd like to see someone that's good with photoshop clean it up a little and make the camo body color.

Instead of put LED strips as those daytime running lights, just use factory projector lamps for the fogs with built in halos to use as running lights instead. LED strips do not fit on the mustang, unless it were to be yellow LED strips for the turn signals in the headlight housing.

Maybe?

Based on pure speculation, the new Bullitt will likely make its appearance as a limited edition trim package on the 2013 Mustang GT Premium, costing just a bit more than the California Special. Like the Bullitts of yesteryear, the 2013 Bullitt should be available only in its signature Dark Highland Green and black.
I dont think the GT500 is an SE, but maybe this is a mule with several diff parts just to make us forum junkies spend hours of our lives arguing about details. Or it very well could be a new SE. Only thing i have to say is, time will tell
