Anyone thinking that the loss of the "power dome" is to make the clearances easier for a boss with a shaker? It would make sense with the progression of the stripe package.

Wishful thinking is my bet. Why would they do it when it offers no performance benefit and Ford is actively trying to move away fro retro themes? (Yes I recognize the Boss is counter to that point but...)

 

Both will be offered: Torsen Limited Slip 3.73 and Traction Lok 3.73.

 

The Brembo Package will finally be optional with automatic GT's (excluding GT/CS's). I doubt there will be optional gears, though, nor do they need them with the super deep 1st & 2nd gearing in the 6 speed auto.

 

I was thinking the rear lights were blacked out (the black lines we're seeing) and the camo was red tape.

 

What an exhausting thread. I just viewed it from start to finish.

The best part of my Boss, IMO, is the very aggressive pointy hood and pointy bumper. That design element has gone away.

Like the new tailight design.

I think the vehicle still needs the black trim that runs along the bottom of the vehicle. It makes the car look less "heavy" when you look at it from the side.

The only way I am able to express this opinion is because of the excellent photoshop work by Luke.

 

no doubt the torsen will be more expensive...

any thoughts on if the shaker pro replaced the shaker 1000? can the pro be combine with NAV. the 1000 can not.

Shaker Pro is replacing the Shaker 1000 (which is not listed as an option for '13). It's too soon to check whether the Electronics Pkg (nav) can be had with the Shaker Pro (gotta wait for the order guides to come out or the order banks to open to confirm). Happy to help.....

 

Again a +1 on that. But that should be an easy fix, either paint them matte black or toss them and put a 2010 replacement part on it.

 

Man Im kinda bummed the recaros were not an option for 11 or 12. Even though im not feeling the front I cant wait to what they look like in person.

Those spy shots are of the GT/CS and the V6 "Mayhem" package...They share the same wheel designs but different finishes...like the current models.

 

That would be good if they are.. you could not only replace them with a set of '10-'12 halogens, but you could sell the HIDs and come out a few hundred $$$ ahead
