Did you see my PM's? It didnt work. The carrier name simply wont save to the siat/page. I can enter Sprint, but once I exit and go back, it is no longer there.

I suspect that the problem is with sprint not supporting the Map profile. I can't find any phone from Sprint that does.

 

Actually, Sprint and my Blackberry does support MAP, and my phone/car does receive texts and sends texts trough the electronics package. Although for some reason right now it doesn't alert me that a text has arrived.

 

Your phone has MAP but if Sprint doesn't enable it on their end it won't function. See the Ford chart no Sprint phone does Map thru Sprint.

 

The Ford chart must not be up to date. My phone does work with SYNC, and it still receives texts, will audily read the texts, and allows me to reply with texts. It just stopped alerting me that I received a text, although it did initially. So the problem is not with Sprint.

The second issue above is that the Ford SYNC web site won't save Sprint as the carrier, although it lists Sprint as a carrier.
