Knee is all better. In fact better than it ever was before, thanks.

The install is kind of stalled. Work is moving me to Atlanta, so we have been working on selling the current house and finding a new one. We found an awesome house with a pool last week, so it is going to be busy for a bit. I've got a bit of noise, and my mids kind of bottom out too quick. I know the problem with the mids is that they aren't very efficient, but also the factory enclosure may be a bit small. I've got some poly fill to try when I get to it. I'm still considering pulling the mids and horns and going to a simpler set up with my hertz 3 ways. Also have to try to get the processor working again. It wasn't loading up on the laptop the last couple of times I tried to use it.

If I decide to pull the horns I'll let you know. They sound awesome, nice and clear, with amazing staging, but I think they may need more tuning than I have the time for right now.

If you do the sell the horns, I'll buy them, no bs. Good to hear you got them playing though. I'd honestly cut a hole in the back of the factory 8" enclosures and I'm sure that would help. Those drivers do well IB...I hope you get the noise figured out though! Either way, you wouldn't be disappointed with the Hertz either...I would know :P

I had the hertz in my last car and loved them. That was why I never got rid of them.

The noise isn't terrible, especially when I'm driving.....muffler deletes on the coyote are awesome! The noise really only bothers me when I'm using the phone through the sync.

I've thought about cutting a hole in the enclosure, but once the hole is cut you can't really go back.

You could always get new enclosures, but in the cars that my old shop has done, they have cut the enclosures up. I plan on doing so with my ID 8s when my car comes in.

Did a non-audio upgrade today. We are about to move from Florida up to Atlanta in two weeks, so my wife and kids gave me Father's Day early. They gave me the two piece black modern billet grills. I got them put on today, and I really like them. I may go back and cut out the factory lower honeycomb grill. The upper sits nice and flush, but the lower is on top of the factory, so it looks different. That may be the only thing I change. Here's the pics.

Thanks! I really dig it, and I love that I get to keep my fog lights with it. I work late at night, so I really like having the extra light on my drive home.

It looks good, I'm planning on those grilles too! I'm going to put the pony back on though.
