Best HID kits for your Stang?
Not the Xentec ones...waste of time n money plus they don't fit properly causing condensation. Stay away from those...trust me. Bulbs didn't last long either. I scrapped my set after 1 week. I've read positive reviews on hidguy and think I'll try those next.
Try to stay away from DDM if you can.... I used to use them, but the quality has diminished since they went 'big' and started selling by the truckloads.
I use Morimoto Ballasts and Bulbs from Retrofitsource.com

The only kit I can honestly recommend is the 35 watt digital kit from Retrosolutions.

The BIGGEST caveat to this is that if you want it to look right (i.e. LEGAL), you HAVE to get 35 watts and you HAVE to get 4300K and most IMPORTANTLY, you HAVE to get the bulbs capped (which they offer).
The reasons are:
OEM specifications mandate 35 watts and 4300K color. If you go higher wattage you will have a lot of unwanted glare and **** off oncoming drivers. If you go higher temperature, it will be more blue color and it won't look right and you risk getting pulled over for too blue of light.
Lastly, the bulbs have to be capped because they are open in the housing and without them being capped, it would be MUCH brighter and more offensive.
So unless you get something like the raxiom projector lenses, the above is the only way I would suggest going.
I actually had a friend who is a police officer come out to my house one night after I installed them to verify acceptable/unoffensive light output as he sat in his car and I drove by. He was impressed with them to be honest. He said that they looked like they were stock and were not unpleasing in any way when I drove by him. In fact, he commented that they were far less hard on the eyes than projectors in more elevated vehicles like SUV's and stuff and ultimately ended up giving them a thumbs up of approval.
Night time visibility is much much better as well.

Fastredpony, those look great!! I'm on the fence whether to get them or not. My eyes suck, especially @ night! B/c of this, I just stopped driving @ night. I bought 3 diff sets of 4300's for my 95. eBay jobs, blew; DDM, never shipped to me; & hidguy ones. They were hands down the best, of what I tried. Although even though I ordered the hi/lo kit, high beams never work right.
Now, my 11's shine night & day better! I am able to drive @ night again. I believe the HID's will shine better, how can they help though? My stocks are so much brighter, would HID's really matter for $ I'd spend?
I never liked the look of halos, too. Sure @ night they all pretty much look the same? Not during the day. Can you post a pic w/lights off during the day? Thanks so much!

Sorry, should have described that better! I don't want projectors. I need them to work with my stock lights. Kind of a plug & play thing. My stocks are more than enough light for me. Like my exhaust, it can always get better.
Won't need that pic. Just I want them to look as if stock halogen lights. Thanks!
I also read some make stocks so bright they blind on-coming drivers. I don't need that.

I find that the higher the temp and blue-er the light, the more distracting they are. 4300 is a very unoffensive clean OEM white.
I have VVME 6k and you get a life time warranty with them.
