Did you have issues with the 3m tape not clearing the little lip? I had to double stack 3m tape to clear that lip to get it to stick.

No, I didn't have that issue with mine. Was your tape pre-applied to the back side of the panel like the directions showed, or did you get a roll of stuff much thinner than shown in the pictures and you had to apply it yourself to the panel? I got the latter.

Yep. I peeled it off immediately after opening the box. I was worried that it was going to be something much harder to get off like a stencil that was painted on or something. So I was relieved when it took me about 2 minutes to have all traces of it gone.

I so want to pull the trigger on this but I feel bad for cutting into the body. I will have to face my fear. I want to put a pony on the back like they did in the need for speed movie.

That's exactly what I want to do as well. And I had some fear of cutting into the car, but I just kept telling myself that nobody will ever see it since the panel more than covers it.

Same here. I'm considering doing the Boss grille and getting a tribar pony for the rear though, just to be a little different.

Any idea when these are going to be available again?

I emailed RTR over a month ago and they were in process of making them and they would be back in stock soon. Sent them an email back last week and they said very soon.

Figured I would bump this up since I got a discontinued email notice from AM. It's either going to be a long time before they are back stock or never.

I received an email from RTR that said they are re-designing the panel out of ABS instead of steel, and it will be about 4-6 months before its available.

So much for doing this mod this spring. Still thinking about buying a spare and filling in the hole or the cdc one and filling in the grooves.

Still Listed. Still marked as "new". Still "out of stock".
Have they actually made any in the last year, let alone sold any?
Why keep listed an item that doesn't exist?
Maybe they did make some and they sold out again.
Anyone know?

The plastic ones are out now, but on back order. I've seen a few installed on Instagram. They also promised to swap my original out since it rusted...

The new ones are out but they are trickling in. If you place your order for one, they will ship it out once they get more in. I'm waiting on mine to come that's replacing my rusted metal one.
