Boot slipped off pic. I did not have any of the good boots so used one from O'Reilly's
Junk and too short. Need better clamps too.

The drive was fantastic how well it drove, steered, braked. 110% happy so far.

Gone but not forgoton. This thread reminds me of my days. However a hell of alot harder now. I tip my hat to all that try and do there thing.

You guys have true Perseverance!
Even in 1970 on a Ford there were only a few wires on the engine.

Coil +

Water Temp

Oil Pressure

Maybe a Tachometer wire if car had one

I do not think I could count the wires on My EcoProject.

But, I love it all. About the easiest wiring I have ever done on a old vehicle.

Very cool! It's motivating to see your truck moving under its own power. I guess we are going to follow your lead and use the ford PCM.

Lexiion, who has been a great resource for me on the electronics side, just happens to live 5 min from my house! That's a total coincidence, I had no idea before joining this forum. What's funny too is that we both picked 2010 candy red mustangs for our projects. He's got a project he's not talking too much about but it includes putting the finest engine ford has ever made for the mustang in to his car. He's going to help me get the PCM working in my car and I'll help him turn wrenches on his car. We will make a good team, he's a very sharp guy when it comes to the electronics, an area where I'm weak. Luckily we will have a few resources to tap in to to get this done if we get stumped on something. If we can pull this off and are be able to explain to people how to do it, this build thread will be much more valuable. If we can't pull it off then I'll wait till the control pack comes out.

I ended up using this style clamp, they are fairly inexpensive on eBay. The bands are stainless steel and wider than what you used. You have to tighten them with a deep socket 10mm, but you can tighten the hell out of them.

Onelildude, I responded, thanks

I sold my tan leather seats today on eBay, I ordered these corbeau seats. Though decision between style, price, and performance. These are 26 lbs each with leather but I don't think that includes the bracket.

I was shocked at how much the stock seats weighed! They are seriously heavy, I'll weigh it all tomorrow at work before I ship it. The front seats were difficult to lift and I'm not weak guy. I would suspect they are 50 lbs or more, both are heated with electric.

Seat delete for the rear, although it's hard to believe that costs $1,100.

Give us a good review on those seats when you get 'em!

As for the rear seat delete; check out this website: http://www.butler-macmaster.com/m-6346612-b

You'll have to call for pricing, but before they took all of their pricing off, it was around $950.

If your just looking for the rear seat delete and not the X-Brace. Try Watson racing at $425.00. I have seen this kit and its not a bad looking kit. If you buy anything that's a Ford product you will pay Mucho Bucks. but I know you know that!!

I'm loving this thread! It's kinda of a dual build thread which is great because I can catch the F150 build in highlights without joining to another forum. (I joined up here just to subscribe to this thread!) Those shiny parts are looking good for that truck!

Nice parts, what's the story on the turbo? Is that the GT turbo from full-race?
