Nice! What kind of sound are you looking for? Do you still have the stock over the axle pipes installed?

BBK ceramic shorty headers, FRPP xpipe, GT500 mufflers.
These should open her up a little more. I'm also going 2.5" back from the xpipe.
The tuner said he would have to adjust the tune.
I haven't heard of anyone installing these on a 3.7L yet so I was curious.

My Mags street cat back is 2.5 but I'm going to have to reinstall the stock 2.25 piping if I want to put on my Borla S-Types or at least thats what my exhaust shop told me. Not sure if I want to do that or not.

Cut and weld will work.

It's a larger diameter after the headers. I am putting in 3" pypes highflow mini cats.

I swapped my x pipe with the Hiflo catted x and it's still loud. I can't imagine the pypes being any quieter.

How loud is loud? I am leaving in the factory resonators after the FRPP xpipe. Then we will go from there.

Ok it's louder. Lol. Made it sound like its on steroids. Idle is very nice. I am very glad I left the resonators in. Video to come.

Idle is the best part. Any mashing of the pedal will make mothers grab their children, make car alarms go off and make v8 owners jelly.

Here is a short vid of warm idle and a couple short pulls. The shorties are just as loud as the long tubes when you remove the cats, when replaced with Pypes 3" cats, it sounds very aggressive. I am in love with the deep sound this engine has now. I like the fact that I can still hear more engine over exhaust and I can really hear a whistle now from the intake. bonus!
I was unable to rev it up in my neighborhood this morning, but I will follow up with another vid eventually.
Watch in HD for better sound

Sounds pretty good Chris. Did you use the BBK gaskets when you installed your headers?

I'd watch those gaskets. They have a reputation for blowing out. I got new Ford ones that are metallic which are much more heavy duty.

I think the stock ones are not providing a good enough seal and that's why I'm having the problems at idle. It's the only thing that's left because I have ruled out the mid-pipe connection and the tune so I'm gonna give the BBK ones a try.

Really? Were there any imperfections in the headers?
