I just picked up a pair of these from American Muscle. A good quality product!
I have them installed along with an updated 93R Bama tune, and CAI, waiting for my 73mm throttle body
Sounds great! No rasp.
I am running stock mid pipe and exhaust. I just can not settle on a muffler set, but leaning towards the Borla Touring.
Does anyone else have this setup?
Update: GT500 sports installed
Update: FRPP Xpipe installed
Update: Port/some polish
Update: Pypes highFlow Cats installed

Did you install yourself? I think "the5" has shorty headers stock mid and borla ataks. You can try a searvh for him as I recall he made a video and it sounded pretty good. I have Magnaflow street catback and I plan on adding shorty headers and x pipe with hi flow cats. Hopefully it won't be to loud.

Install took 5 hours solo. My hands are beaten and my arms are bruised. I recommend to have a shop install these. With a full lift it can be done in an hour or two.
I have seen the5 video. I have also seen someone with the frpp cut and clamp x pipe with stock mufflers and it becomes raspy. I'm thinking borla catted xpipe, all the way to borla tourings, and that may call for some resonators.
I can not get over how flat the stock exhaust manifolds are!

Yeah I have acess to a shop with lifts and peeps to help out. I already have the bbk shortys sitting in my garage but I want to get my suspension setup before I add anymore performance mods. I'll probably get the bbk catted x-pipe as they were made to work with thw shortys. I like Borla tho and I think you'll have a good setup. Might want to try it without the resonators first to see how it sounds. The Borla tourings are quiet so it might workout. The stock exhaust system is not good imo. When I installed my catback I couldn't believe how many flat spots it had.

I'm curious as to how the gt500s will sound on a V6. What type of setup do you have?
I heard a pair of FRPP mufflers yesterday and I like them.
And of course they are the most expensive set I have seen.

Siber, I just saw your video with the cut and clamp and shortys, I like your sound alot. Even with the stock mufflers. Do you have resonators in place?
A huge difference it made in sound after you installed the shortys. The video without the shortys had a lot of pop.
Thumbs up!

Stock cats and resonators, FRPP Cut and Clamp X-Pipe and the stock Manual Mufflers.
The GT500 mufflers sounds pretty close to the FRPP Touring (I have heard both in person) The GT500's are just a bit quieter so with the Headers it should sound real good.

Thanks for the info! Sounds, like the gt5000 mufflers are the sound I am going for!

Now if I can only get my tune for this thing, has anyone installed a revised tune for the headers?
The one that AM sent out to me was incorrect and caused a loss of power, so I reinstalled my previous file.

Good! So its safe to say that when I install them and update my tune my performance should be greatly improved. I do plan on picking up the 73 tb also. Hope you get your tune issues worked out. I just tuned mines and at first I did the 91 perf. and it didnt change much but the 91 hybrid tune is great!

Very Noticeable gains in the lower to mid RPM range, and it seems to accelerate much smoother through the whole RPM range.
I did revise my tune to include the headers.
Now it is time to go take it up to the Dragon and see how they help in the Twisties

The twisties! Nice
I have also noticed that my cylinder head temp runs at 205 compared to the 208 it used to. This could be from my baby foot on the throttle lately though.
