I got the quads and the Qtec 302 cutouts installed today, and all I can is ****!!!!! The sound is awsome. I see now why the guys whove gone a head and installed the quads say to run them wide open. It makes a deep mellow tone thats not loud, yet it can be heard fom a distance. I thought my car sounded good with the Borla ATAK system and the stock h pipe (i didnt like the x pipe sound) but now it sounds just badass. It gave the exhaust a much deeper tone and you CAN hear the difference when i hit switch for Qtec 302's. For anyone who ask if the quad exhaust is worth it, yes it is....as far as the Qtec 302's.....it is if you have a need to make your car quiet in a hurry. I got a few pics, but I didnt have enough time to video today. I'll get some video tommorrow and post it.

I haven’t mounted it yet. I really don’t like the idea of drilling holes in the interior, but the spot I’m looking at is down near the hand brake. It would be out of the way and not easily seen. When I get it mounted I’ll post a pick of where I put it.

As to the QTP valves - extremely well done pieces. I have them but never bolted them in as I didn't see the tone/burble from the pipes without any attenuation plates as offensive or 'too' loud. Again, the engineering and quality are first rate. But the sound uncapped is what I want to hear every moment the engine is spinning. To each his own I guess.
Nice photos as well. Thanks for documenting your install and sharing it here.

I bought the qtp's thinking the car would be louder than what it is, so when i was by myself i would run it wide open but when i had the little one with me(she loves to ride in the mustang) i would hit the switch and tone it down. I kinda wish i could have heard the quads in person so i would have known that the qtp's were not needed.

I placed my QTP switch in the center console storage bin. I drilled a hole in the removable plastic piece on the left side of the bin. Its out of the way and cant be seen at all.

So in the stock Boss, the side pipes are always open? If I get these, leave the restrictor plates in, I can consider this the same as a stock Boss?

Congrats!! Sounds bad a$$ in the video...but i know for a fact that it's even better in real life!
We need someone to collect a video from outside the car. Ford claims that by angling the exhaust downwards, it made it much quieter for everyone but the driver....so i have no clue how loud this setup is from curbside.

If you like the X-pipe sound, I believe one would appreciate it.

No, they don't have anything better to do.
