I was wondering if anyone had some video/sound clips with the Quads (no restrictors) and any muffler delete axle-backs, such as SLP's or similar?
Wondering what it would do sound wise? NASCAR sound levels? LOL

I'm putting my Boss 302 side exhaust on my 2012 GT tomorrow and I will post a video. I also will be running the GT500 axle backs. There is an article that showed a HP increase of 7-9 with the Boss exhaust and no baffles.

I’ve done a lot of things to my ride and for some reason I’m really trying to wrap my head around spending $700 for a little more sound. I like what SW has done with the side burners (link below). Has anyone installed these? I like the video SW put up showing the side by side. Anyone do this with the Boss quad exhaust? Somebody convince me that it’s worth the money…please…As anyone done a step by step install with pics?

Alright i installed mine today. Those bolts facing up were killer's! WD-40 was my friend. I just sprayed the flange and let it sit for 10 minutes. I used ratcheting wrenches, two post lift and a air gun with deep sockets. I found the next set of coupler's kind of funny. On each side one bolt was a 15 mm the other a 14 mm. Was Ford trying to be funny? Anyways, with my Roush ab's and the flange out i cannot hear them anymore. This thing with the window's down is pretty loud! In fifth and six cruising inside is quite.
Although i have this weird sound (like clinking or something) coming for the side pipe when coming to a stop. I'm not sure what it is. Either way i think i'm about to order some cutouts. Speaking of cutouts on QTP's site there is one dealer in Va. Beach. So i called to see what they would charge me to install them. Every place i try to get things installed attempt to gouge me. If i can work on a $10 million sonar in the Navy i can wire in some cutouts...but i wanted to see anyways. So this place tells me to buy and install them $800...wtf! So $400 labor....lol! Classic, but i digress! I'm trying to figure out how these businesses stay afloat (I guess from gullible people paying for it). Anyways, is there a step by step guide out there to wire them up?

I had a rattle on my boss when I first bought it. the side pipes need a fingers clearance all the way back.
I am in the navy as well and I know what you are talking about lol. there is a write up on bossmutangsonline somewhere. and there are threads on how to get the set up rattle noise free.

Looks like your passenger-side sidepipe may be too close to the underside. There needs to be a little more clearance. Most Boss owners have experienced similar noises after playing with the restrictor plates. You should have no problem making the noise go away.
