Thanks guys. We'll see what I end up with this afternoon. I know I won't be going with 50% again. It's barely noticeable, yet we have law makers here who make it their life's work to make sure the law stays the way it is.

Ok, went with 40% on the fronts and 35% on the rears. Difference is barely noticeable but I'm happy with it. The lighting in the pics is really bad and my phone sucks for pics. It looks darker in person.

Uh oh. You're getting close to that engine tick mileage now! We followed the car monitor and had the dealer change the oil when the light came on. We were about 6k miles. 600 miles later, we have the nasty engine tick that everyone seems to complain about. The local Ford dealer didn't like the way it sounded when I stopped in to show them. Hopefully we can get it resolved, but it sounds really bad now. I had the dealer do the oil change since so many people commented about the tick after the oil change. They can't say I did anything to it!
BTW, I used to run with 35% tint on all of my cars and I was never pulled over by the cops in Minnesota. I even parked my car on the street outside of the Minneapolis Police Dept many times and was never ticketed. Now, I did get failure to properly display a front plate, but never got hit for tint.

I would more than gladly just do it myself but I want to keep my warranty. Glad to hear you had good luck with the 35%.
I have the engine tick too
need to get mine into the dealer this week. Should be a nice waste of time and effort when they call back with "no problem found" or "it's normal" lol

Be careful on the track key. My dealership told me that is a Ford performance option, not a FoMoCo product and will void my warranty. It seems Ford is willing to do everything in their power to not warranty these cars.
Your car looks nice man, however i dont even see tint... whats the point if it doesnt look any different? I have 20% all around and its perfect.
edit: say it came like that from the factory.... i pulled that outta my **** once, pulled over for tint, said it was called the "black appearance package" and it was like that from dealer brand new. Got let off.

Ok, went out and got some better pics. Looks a little lighter in direct sun and a little darker in the shade. She really needs a bath. Hopefully tonight if I get the chance.

Thanks! Don't have much for up close pics, but here's a few.

Ask other dealers as well. It's all in how much the dealer wants to help you.
