Laser what stereo did you get? I have a 2014 GT with the Nav Radio. The radio is OK but when I stream Hi Bit content or use a USB with High bit Content it is like having a totally different system. I really can not believe it. At that point I do not want to change a thing other than a Powered Sub.

Ordered some more parts this morning. Was going to wait until next month but I couldn't pass up the awesome deal CJ Pony Parts has going on with free gift cards when you spent so much, plus the forum discount on top of it. So excited!

Standard Shaker with Electronics Package. I'm an audio junky. My Escape has $1800 speakers in it. The stock stuff will not do for me. Not only that, I'm actually OK with how the stock stuff sounds for now...it's just the rattling panels that drive my nuts (worse in the cold, due to the plastic contracting and not fitting 100% correctly anymore).
The point I was making is that the media has allot to do with how it sounds. Even the Satellite radio does not sound to good LOL

I'm with you. I spent my early days as an audio Engineer.Audio is still a passion for me. I guese if it was my daily driver I would have a killer system in it. I have not had any rattles yet but from what I am reading I will soon LOL. The point I was making is that the media has allot to do with how it sounds. My Escape was my DD for 3 years, so it has a killer audio system. I'd be okay just changing speakers and doing sound deadening on this car. I have my image centered with the rudimentary stock fader/balance, which is the most important aspect of tuning a system to me. I just want no door panel rattles!

Installed my redline tuning hood struts I got for Christmas. Was super easy aside from the cold hands.
I'm also a bit pissed. I had a dryer sheet on top of my strut tower brace to keep mice away. The **** thing left tiny scratches/cracks in the clear coat. Always thought it was a bit ugly to begin with, but still.
