Turns out there is a way to add the glass roof. I'm mad that I did not order the glass roof on my 2012 Sterling Grey. Searched this and another forum and found CDC. Classic Design Concepts who have an aftermarket verison that looks great, that has been installed on Mustangs for a couple of years. Just sent the local shop an email to get price quote. Looks like Mustang owners were posting $2400 installed back in 2010.

 

When I researched the glass roof I got the impression it was an aftermarket mod before it became a factory option.

 

I believe the CDC roof has been discontinued due to low sales. I hope you can still find one though!

 

You're right. I confirmed with CDC and local installer that they discontinued a few years ago...
