The front end has a "loose" feel, some "clunking" at slow speeds when turning-just doesn't seem normal for a car with 12k miles.

Has anyone with a convertible had the tsb performed on their car?

One think I am curious is why would Ford only say it pertains to the coupe and not the convertibles?
I'm wondering the same thing in my '07 Vert produced the first week of production in June '06. I never notice it with the top down, but with the top and windows up, I can hear a clunking in the front end over bumps, etc. The car now has 11,000 miles on it.

Hi steevr,

I recommend you bring your vehicle in to your Ford dealer for diagnosis. They can look into this and maybe apply this TSB to your vehicle. Please speak to your Service Manager.

Thanks for the TSB post Alpineblue. Mine is exhibiting all the issues from that TSB. At first I thought it was the exhaust system but had that checked out and they couldn't find anything. I'll be talking to my Service Manager at my local dealer soon.

Question

If I bring the tsb to my dealership will they still fix the strut mount problem?

Hello Jake_self,

Welcome to the forum! My name is Deysha with Ford Service. Your vehicle must be fully diagnosed and the concern duplicated in order for your Ford Dealership to attempt any repairs on it. With the diagnosis, they can look up any TSBs, SMS, etc. that may apply to your vehicle.

I recommend you make an appointment with your Ford Dealer as soon as possible. You can schedule one online here.
