Different from the well known California Special and High Country Special, in 1968 there was a special edition Mustang from the North Carolina and Virgina areas that also had special color and emblems on the front fenders. What was it called?

I won't answer as I had to look for it and didn't know. (But I do know now!) I will say however that I found many different special editions that I never knew existed. Of the special editions the only ones I have seen or had heard about were GT/CS, High Country, Sprint, Grabber, Twister, Color of the month.

Only other one I know about is the Golden Nugget version, but I don't know where it was sold.

Alright, in 1968 Shelby had a specialty GT500 called the EXP 500. It was so powerful that dealers actually discouraged people from buying it. What was the nickname of this car and what was the horsepower rating?

EXP500 aka "Green Hornet" was a prototype and was never put into production. It was a test car for fuel injection and IRS, HP was guessed to be 450+.

correct. there were only 50 made, with an approximate HP rating of 400-450

Where are you getting your info? There was only 1 Green Hornet.

What is the compression ratio of the new 5.0 mustang engine? Due to this would you be able to run more or less boost than you would with a stock 4.6L 3v.
