In 1970, inner fender mounted rev limiters were used on several Ford Musclecars. Name 4, including engine size.

Correct. Also, the Boss 302 and 428CJ Cougar Eliminators had them.

Is that a question or is that your final answer?

BA, You are correct, the '78 King Cobra's carried the 5.0 insignia, yet I don't consider them 5.0s until 1982 when they went with the 1 piece rear main seal. Please ask another question promptly, you were the last one to have a correct answer and let the thread die, and I know you are on here all the time. Thanks, kennyg

Other than the cubic inches what major "overall" difference exists between a 200 and 250 six cylinder that would prevent you from installing it in a "stock" 65 Mustang body? Note that it would require the late bellhousing but that is not major. Also note that if you didn't know this you wouldn't find out until after you had it running. (speaking from experience)

The 250 is a taller engine? So it might cause hood clearance issues on some years.

Correct. The deck height is about an 1 1/2" higher. On a 65 you would have to use the early carb with no air cleaner or a custom air cleaner to close the hood. Other option would be to add a scoop.

Someone else post a question. I don't have time to get one before I go to work.
