1965 and 1966 street GT-350 VIN numbers were of the form:

"SFM6S1423", (which happens to be the Vin of my '66 Hertz car). What did the first 5 digits stand for?

Woo-hoo!! Thank you google!

I haven't read the other 30+ pages of trivia since I'm new around here, so I'll do my best not to repeat something.

Which year had the LEAST production numbers for the Fox Body GTs?

It wouldn't have mattered, me or Ralph would have gotten it pretty quick anyway.

Question, list all Ford produced/built vehicles that the 2.3 Turbo engine was available in. This includes all makes(Ford,Mercury, etc) Better hurry before Kendal answers this question.

Apparently Leroy didn't know that there were that many cars with the 2.3T in them. mgreene is correct. Just for info sakes, Ford also put Turbocharged 4cyls in the EXP, Escort GT, Mercury Capri(91-94), and recently the UK spec Focus RS/ST. These of course were different then the Lima 2.3 Turbo.

Apprently Leroy don't know much if it's not related to the Fox body. But I like learning, so keep it up!

The first big block Cobra (390 FE powered) was actually built by putting the big block in a small block (289) leaf spring chassis Cobra. It handled so poorly that its development driver, Ken Miles, gave it a very descriptive name. What was that name?

Everyone of those cars except the Merkur is a Fox Body. The Fairmont/Zephyer was introduced in 78, before the Fox Mustang was produced. What you mean to say is that unless its a Fox Mustang, you don't know much. Don't worry though, I learn ya few things.

That's it!!! Its poor handling resulted in an updated coil spring chassis for factory big block Cobras.

Your go...

Yes, Fox MUSTANG. At this point I'm wondering how much I know about the Fox Mustang!

Gotta love obscure factoids....

Ok. Next Q.

We all know Mustang was an Indy pace car in 64, 79 and 94 . What made the 64 Indy pace car so unique to ANY of the other pace cars that EVER paced the Indy 500?

No idea, but I'll guess that it was the only non-V8 powered car.
