You might be careful about asking ambiguous questions like this one as these times vary lots depending on magazine, actual car used, driver, weather, etc. Kind of hard to name an EXACT time here.

Also, the way this works is that the answerer does not go ahead until the asker confirms the answer, so n8rfastback kind of jumped the gun.

Lets get this moving again. How many 1964 1/2 mustangs were built for the sole purpose of pacing the 1964 Indianapolis 500?

some sources report two convertibles, others report three. Ford also provided another 190 coupes and 35 convertibles as replicas to the 1964 race officials.

Its three. There are almost always three cars built for the Indy 500. But in the case of the 64 1/2 Mustang, only two ran during the race because of mechanical problems, but three were built. That is if memory serves correctly.

Yeah. Mustang specs had that as a color. Ok, Name two differences in the 1999 and the 2001 Cobra.

What you might be looking for is located on the engine and takes some explaining. Long story short, 1999 Cobras weren't running on a full head of steam. The cars were rated at 320 flywheel hp and were said to be putting out around 300-305. This was based on pathetic chassis dyno numbers in the 270 range. Add 15-17 percent for drivetrain loos and you get 300ish hp. Ford did a recall on all Cobras putting a retrofit on them to put the hp where it was supposed to be. The retrofit consisted of a redesigned exhaust system, and an extrude honing of the intake. This retrofit was later added to the 2001 Cobras. If that is not what you are looking for then everybody was provided some additional info on the 99 and 01 Cobras.
